Hans is a recent graduate of University of Toronto, with a Bachelors in Cognitive Science, and was a member of the Canadian team at the 2015 World University Games. As a former high performance athlete, a community artist, and a permaculture farmer, he brings a commitment to excellence, community engagement, and environmental sustainability. He has lived and worked in India, Singapore, and Canada with underserved and at-risk communities to develop food security and physical literacy.

Mrs. Poongavanam is an expert in R&D testing of rocket stoves with extensive knowledge and experience in rural markets. The inputs received from her have been of immense help in designing our stoves to the utmost perfection. Her marketing efforts help us serve the parts of society that can be otherwise hard to reach.

Karthikeyan B is a program manager in a multi national firm but holds his root to his traditions.

He has been an enthusiast of traditional cooking methods and his quest for infusing modern methods into traditional cooking and using technology without sacrificing authenticity had led him into this field of modified coal burning and wood burning stoves.

He has been field testing these stoves from 2007 onwards using methods such as in-field water boiling test etc. He has successfully tested several stoves such as envirofit, prakti etc. Before that he was modifying and building traditional mud based stoves at home.
